Qualifications:

- The Registered Dental Hygienist must contribute to our team culture and also provide a high level customer

- Registered Dental Hygiene License (Required)
- Local Anesthesia Certification (Required)
- Nitrous Certification (Preferred)
Hours: Full-time, Monday-Thursday from 8:00-5:00pm & the 1st Friday of each month from 8:00-4:00pm
Responsibilities
- Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible while in our office
- Proper dental instrument maintenance - sterilization, sharpening, etc...
- Review and discussion of health histories as needed to address oral and systemic issues
- Conduct oral cancer and blood pressure screenings
- Conduct dental and periodontal examinations
- Identify and treat conditions like gingivitis or periodontitis
- Conduct preventative and maintenance appointments
- Educate patients of all ages on proper home care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)
- Give instructions to patients after dental procedures
- Take Radiographs, CBCT scans and Intraoral pictures
- Work in conjunction with dentist to determine necessary treatment
- Maintain documentation and charts on each patient - treatment planning, posting, setting up next hygiene visit
- Take digital imaging using iTero & Medit scanners
- Confirming, rescheduling, calling patients post-op as needed
- Monitor supplies
