"I love the unique blend of science and art that quality dentistry demands, but I especially enjoy the process of really getting to know my patients well, developing a relationship of trust, and treating every one of them as if they were family." - Dr. Blanchard
Dr. Blanchard truly cares for all of his patients, and he can’t wait to help you and your loved ones achieve the beautiful smiles you deserve. But first, you can start getting to know him by reading on below!
Dr. Blanchard’s father is an internal medicine doctor, and his brother is an ER doctor, so initially, he planned on becoming a medical doctor himself. However, he was eventually steered towards dentistry because he got to shadow a dentist while in college who became one of his mentors, and he also wanted to be able to help people just like his own childhood dentist and orthodontist.
Dr. Blanchard graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2010 with a B.S. in Medical Microbiology and Immunology as well as a certificate degree in business administration. He went on to attend the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and graduated with honors in 2014. Soon after, he received further training at the Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago before moving back to the Madison area to practice in both Waunakee and Reedsburg.
Always striving to improve himself, he has accrued more than 150 hours of continuing education through the Spear Academy in areas such as cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, dental implants, and treatment planning. He also maintains active memberships in the American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Blanchard is a huge University of Wisconsin-Madison fan, so much so that he was actually the Bucky Badger mascot the entire time he was studying there! These days, he enjoys a wide range of recreational activities such as fishing, canoeing, shooting, skiing, mountain biking, hiking, and playing hockey. But most of all, he likes to spend time with his wife, daughter, and two beloved dogs.
